Pumpkin Carving and Trick-or-treating!

Happy HALLOWEEN everyone!

We did some festive pumkin carving for family night with the Avery's! Scott really got into it...

Here is our completed master piece! Cohen was so excited...

He actually had more fun with Dylan and his toys than he did playing with pumpkin goop and seeds. I was surprised!

We could hardly wait to get home and see what it looked like all lit up!

Cohen was a little monster for Halloween. (This was not intended to reveal his true self, it just so happens the two coincide.) Here he is at the Radebaugh's party. He is very serious because he wants to play the piano and the lid is closed. Sadly this is the best picture I got of him that night. But he sure looks cute anyway!

Cohen's first experience trick-or-treating!
He was thoroughly annoyed with having to place the candy in his bucket, he just wanted to eat it as we went along. Luckily we only went to a few houses.

Even more fun than the candy for Cohen was the leaves! He didn't want to "leave"! Ha ha ha! (Ok, that was my poor attempt at making a joke, just ignore it.)

Kaden wore Cohen out by chasing him all over Papap's house. Here Cohen is reaping the benefits of begging for candy door to door. See, it wasn't just for us!
(What a strange holiday... we dress our children up in cute, scary and/or strange costumes and parade to strange people homes encouraging them to take food from them, but then expect them to not talk to strangers any other day of the year! How confusing this must be!
Oh well, I still love it!)
